As M.Sc. Maritime Technology (Delft 1993) Jen Wartena has built up a broad experience in yacht- and ship building as well as in all business aspects of managing a shipyard. He has a strong drive for innovation, combined with a positive mentality and excellent commercial approach.
In 2005 he started his company Integratorship. From here he worked very successfully until 2020 as CEO of superyacht builder ICON Yachts. His innovative approach has been recognized with several international awards.
In 2020 he decided to broaden his horizons and take on new assignments.
Jen Wartena is an allrounder who oversees the entire shipbuilding process from a helicopter view. His clients characterize him as a Jack of all trades and a true optimist who always thinks in solutions. He can easily switch between technology, design, finance, marketing, etc. He is easy to deal with, both for people in the work place and for CEO’s and middle management.
